Lone Star Credit Union formally recognized the success and service of all employees at its annual staff training day on January 16, 2017. LSCU President, Jerry Clancy, also presented the 2016 Branch of the Year Award to the Dallas Branch staff and the 2016 Employee of the Year Award to Amy Gonzalez, Financial Service Officer.

Amy has been serving LSCU Members for more than 6 years as the Financial Service Officer at the Dallas Branch. Management and Executives recognized Amy for her willingness to support her coworkers and dedication to her work—taking time to explain and help Members with things that improve their position financially, even if it does not directly affect the credit union.
The Dallas Branch was also recognized for their achievements and Member service. They exceeded 5 out of 6 of their production goals for the year, including loans. In 2016, the Dallas Branch lended more than $22.6 Million to help Members purchase their homes, lower their car payements, and get back on their feet.
