LSCU Recognizes Employees' Success in 2016

Premier Rewards Program Ending

The LSCU Premier Rewards program will be ending effective March 31, 2017. This means the final day to earn points will be March 31, 2017. Purchases made April 1 and later will no longer earn rewards points, but eligible points will still be redeemable through September 30, 2017.

2016 Terrell's Best Winner

On October 20, 2016, credit unions around the world will celebrate International Credit Union Day (ICU Day).

Credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives, offering the same services as other financial institutions, but with a people-first philosophy. Since 1948, on the third Thursday of every October, credit unions have celebrated the principles that make credit unions the best financial partners of people all over the world.  “The authentic difference,” this year’s ICU Day theme, zeroes in on what makes credit unions different from banks, fintech startups and other financial institutions—our principles.

Upcoming ACH Posting Changes

Beginning September 23, 2016, the ACH (Automatic Clearing House) network will require support of same-day posting of ACH credits. This is the first of three phases over the next two years to enable all deposits and withdrawals to be posted the same day, if directed by the ACH originator.

Website Maintenance – 08/26/16

Our website will undergo maintenance on Friday, August 26th between 2:00 am and 5:00 am (CST). This maintenance will disable protocol versions that are no longer considered secure by the PCI Security Standards Council, and will impact older, less secure browsers. However, these changes will add more protection for visitors coming to our site.

Chip Card Technology Arrives at LSCU

The LSCU MasterCard Debit Card made the switch to the new chip-enabled card on Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Although the conversion to chip cards has been a lengthy process for most financial intuitions and businesses,  this new technology brings hope to the fight against card fraud and gives cardholders a much higher level of protection than ever before.

Back The Blue - Dallas

In light of the recent events in Dallas, our team wanted to show their support for the five fallen police officers, their families, and their communities. Outside the Dallas branch, blue ribbons were tied in front of our entrance and five American flags, one for each of the fallen officers, were placed next to our sign. Inside, employees were raising donations for the Assist the Officer Foundation.
