As President of Lone Star Credit Union (LSCU), I am proud to announce that this year we will cross another milestone in the history of our organization. In October, we will celebrate 50 years of financially empowering our Members.
What began as a small credit union serving the employees of Lone Star Gas Company has now become an enduring financial institution that serves a membership spanning six counties and employees of select local business partners. Lone Star Credit Union has countless achievements, including a successful 2016 with total assets increasing to $116 Million and $92 Million in loans.

We are also grateful to our Members who entrusted us to help achieve their financial goals and dreams. Their feedback has pushed us to keep moving forward and improve vigorously. Our success story remains incomplete without the support of our Members. Not only have they made us a part of their lives but also helped us reach out to the world. Their kind words and generosity towards their community have helped spread the word faster and in a more authentic way than any of our means could.
Lone Star Credit Union’s accomplishments over the last 50 years would also not have been possible without the support of our excellent team. Every one of our employees plays a very important role in the growth and success of our credit union. It is their enthusiasm, support and dedication that have brought us where we are today. LSCU remains indebted to its employees for their contributions.
