The Nominating Committee has selected one candidate for each of the four open positions. The selected candidates are Jerry Clancy, Kim Marszalek, Wayne Price, and Jack Smith (see biographical information below).

Jerry began his story at LSCU 48 years ago, when LSCU served the employees of Lone Star Gas Company. Jerry transferred to the credit union from the Gas Supply Department, has held various positions from collector to Executive Vice President, and was named President in 1993. He was elected to the LSCU Board of Directors that same year and continues to enjoy serving on the board to this day. Jerry says that his favorite part about his career at LSCU is making a difference in our Members’ lives and working in a place that is pleasant to come to each and every day. Jerry also serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Ferguson Road Initiative.

“I really want our Members to know how grateful I am to them for allowing me to have such a wonderful place to work and people to work with - and for- over the past 48 years.”

Jack co-founded Pure IT Credit Union Services and currently serves as its CEO.

“I enjoy serving on the board, because I get to help advise the board as it relates to information technology, and aligning IT with how to better serve Members. I also enjoy learning about, and being a part of the Credit Union movement. I consider being a part of a non-profit that serves its Members to the best of its abilities, an honor and a privilege.”
